The Conquest of the State (La Conquista del Estado) by Ramiro Ledesma Ramos is a collection of political writings concerning the origins of Spanish National Syndicalism, the emergence of Spanish nationalism, and the ideological background of the Falange movement.

Ramiro Ledesma Ramos was a Spanish political philosopher, journalist, and revolutionary nationalist whose political ideology was influential in the emergence of Spanish Fascism in the Second Spanish Republic era. Being the founder of La Conquista del Estado, Ledesma developed a radical political ideology, which combined nationalism and revolutionary syndicalism, and helped lay down the ideological background of the Spanish National Syndicalist movement.

The Conquest of the State, published by Antelope Hill Publishing is the first English edition, which contains selected writings published in 23 issues of the newspaper. It is a collection of primary sources, which discuss the political ideology of Ledesma, his critique of the Spanish republic, and the ideological background preceding the Spanish Civil War.

Ledesma is also known for his design of the emblem of yoke and arrows, which later was used as the symbol of the Spanish Falange.

For those interested in Ramiro Ledesma Ramos, Spanish Fascism, the Falange Española, National Syndicalism, and the history of the Spanish Civil War, The Conquest of the State offers an excellent opportunity to read original political writings.
