Original Arbeitsbuch of Nazi Germany — Third Reich Employment Record

Original employment record book (Arbeitsbuch) issued during the Third Reich period. It features period Reich eagle badge, handwritten personal data, employment records, and government stamps.

The Arbeitsbuch was introduced under the German labor laws of February 26, 1935, and was used for recording personal data, vocational skills and employment history of the workers. The records made in these documents were part of the labor administration system which was developed in National Socialist Germany.

This example was issued to a civilian worker in Germany and contains handwritten notes about his background, vocational training and employment history. Some pages have period labor office stamps, signatures and employment records.

The document still has its original brown covers, reinforced spine and period government badges.
